Abstract

What will be our project? Our project will be a complete adjustment to the A12 engine, as a team we have seen fit to make this adjustment because some of the moving and static parts have suffered more wear than usual, causing the vehicle to present weakness when driving it. We have made changes to the piston rings, connecting rod and crankshaft caps, etc. We will talk about the auxiliary systems that make up an internal combustion engine, such as the systems of: distribution, lubrication, cooling, starting, charging... We will also talk about the different components of each of the systems.

General Objective:

- To perform diagnostics of the A12 engine in order to adjust it using the knowledge gained throughout the school year.

Specific Objectives:

- Demonstrate which are the correct steps to be performed for in adjustment on the A12 engine.

- To carry out a reconditioning of the A12 engine with the theoretical bases in the manufacturer's manual.
