Killing harmful species for crops, our business or home can also become an environmental problem, since the products and techniques used could negatively affect auxiliary fauna present in the same ecosystem. It is essential that we are aware and begin to opt for more sustainable alternatives that generate less damage to the environment, which allows a fair and balanced development to the environment.

Environmentally friendly pest control consists of eliminating species harmful to crops, our business or home can also become an environmental problem, since the products and techniques used could negatively affect auxiliary fauna present in the same ecosystem.

Pests must be taken into account. Not because they are a source of nuisance, but because they can be a source of disease. Most pests, such as mosquitoes, rats and flies, usually carry diseases that, although they are not dangerous for them, their body is immune, they can seriously affect our health.

Our gardens and orchards or crops are often affected by pests. Long before chemical pesticides were invented, farmers had home remedies to get rid of insect invasions affecting plants. These natural alternatives to chemical pesticides can be easily made at home and can save our garden harvest.

According to the WHO, pesticides are also potentially toxic to humans. They can have adverse health effects, for example, they can cause cancer or have consequences for the reproductive, immune or nervous systems. Before pesticides are approved for use, they must be studied to determine all possible health effects.

Acute pesticide poisonings are a serious public health problem worldwide, especially in developing countries. The World Health Organization estimates that 3 million acute pesticide poisonings occur each year, of which 250,000 result in death.
