Abstract

The transgenic are, as the name suggests, genetically modified products; than presents advantages and disadvantages at the social and ecologic ambit. The first transgenic cultivation was at year 1983, after that spreading to its international usage in other vegetables. But these can have problems like the healthiness at long term, contamination of the soil and a great impact to the biodiversity, inter alia; those can have too their advantages like improve the aliment’s quality, reduce the pesticide usage, give resistance to problems like the drought and other organisms, and up to improve the health. Whenever, those affects too at the socioeconomic ambit like the enterprise’s monopoly, that worries more of the economic than the security.
