RSTI Verification Forms
To ensure you are prepared to begin Residency II (student teaching/internship), the FSEHD requires all advisors to regularly meet with and track the progress of their students through a program-specific RSTI Verification Form. You can view your program's RSTI Verification Form by clicking on your program's link below.
The Readiness for Student Teaching/Internship (RSTI) verification form is completed by the student’s advisor and submitted to the Office of Partnerships and Placement (opp@ric.edu) the semester before Residency II (student teaching/internship).
Your advisor should review your program's RSTI Verification form with you during each advising session to verify you are making progress on meeting the requirements to begin Residency II. Come prepared to these meetings to talk about the courses you are taking and are planning to take, and bringing/accessing your unofficial RIC transcript (viewable through MyRIC) and any RI-ICEE, Disposition scores, and Community Service Journal hours (accessible through Anthology).
When you have met your program's requirements to begin Residency II, it is your advisor's responsibility to complete and sign your RSTI Verification form and submit it to OPP (via a Google Form).
Missing or incomplete RSTI Verification Forms may results in a delay or deferred student teaching/internship placement. Please work with your advisor to ensure this form is submitted promptly. If your advisor has questions, please direct them to Dr. Amy Topper, FSEHD Director of Assessment, atopper@ric.edu.
