Robert Littlefield , RIASP Executive Director, is a graduate of Bates College and Bridgewater State College. Bob has been a respected leader in Rhode Island education since he began his administrative career in 1993. He has served as an Assistant Principal at South Kingstown High School from 1993-1998, the Principal of Portsmouth High School from 1998-2016, the Secondary School Director in Warwick Public Schools from 2016-2019 and as superintendent of schools in South Kingstown during the 2023-2024 school year. In addition to serving in leadership positions in public schools, Bob was the Chairman of Commission on Public Schools for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, served on the Principal's Committee on Athletics for the Rhode Island Interscholastic League and was named the Rhode Island High School Principal of the Year in 2008. Kaitlin Donahue, PhD. For nearly ten years Kaitlin served as a public school principal in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. In 2022, Kaitlin transitioned to teaching at Bridgewater State University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education. In September 2022, Kaitlin was selected to serve as the Rhode Island Association of Principals (RIASP) Professional Development Consultant/Coordinator. Kaitlin worked to build upon a coaching framework for early career principals to accelerate their development as educational leaders. Kaitlin is certified in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education, and as a Reading Specialist, Building Level and District Level School Leader. She holds a Master of Science in both Literacy and School Administration, and PhD in Educational Leadership. Kaitlin has a record of successful educational leadership PK-12 public.
