Surrealism is art based on the imagination. What happens when you put images together that don't exist? People notice. Students are introduced to the Surrealist movement and artwork by Salvador Dali. Thinking like surrealists, the goal for these 5th graders is to combined images together in unusual and unique ways. These images might look realistic, but how they are put together just doesn't ring true.
