Learning Objectives:
Observe elements of art through the gallery walk.
Draw a figure using correct proportion representing themselves.
Incorporate at least 2 items from the works of art into their piece.
Demonstrate control of brush and watercolor techniques in figure and background.
Students learn about body proportion, where our body bends and the angles our body creates. Their drawing should be six heads tall and show elbows and knees. Practice drawings are completed to understand these concepts. A final drawing of themselves in action is then completed. If time permits we outline it in black and adding color.
