Obtaining a Work Permit
Work Permit Requirements:
Gain employment first
Pick up "Work Permit Application" packet from the Career Center
Complete "Work Permit Checklist" and turn into Mrs. Cardenas, in the Career Center
Allow up to 2 business days to process
Once official work permit has been processed, a pass will be sent for you to come up the permit. An email may also be sent as a confirmation

Work Permit hours of availability by age:
Know-Your-Rights-2024-25.pdf[School in session] -
Ages 14-15:
3 hours a day per school day M-F
8 hours Sat & Sun, not to exceed 18 hours per week
Ages 16-17:
4 hours max per school day M-TH
8 hours Fri - Sun, not to exceed 48 hours per week
[School NOT in session] -
Ages 14-15:
8 hours a day, not to exceed 40 hours per week
Ages 16-17:
8 hours per day, not to exceed 48 hours per week
