Kucera's School Counseling Mission Statement

The mission statement of the Kucera Middle School Counseling Program is that all students will have access to a data informed comprehensive counseling program. We advocate for equity and access to all students by providing school-wide curriculum, targeted small group instruction, and individualized services. Our counseling program empowers all students to become a community of learners that are empowered to achieve personal and career fulfillment as well as cultivate a transformative pathway through high expectations for growth in academics, college/ career readiness, and social/emotional development. In partnership with all stakeholders, the school counselors will encourage all students to become successful lifelong learners and problem solvers who will succeed in their post-secondary endeavors, graduate from high school and achieve their career goals. 




Kucera's School Counseling Vision Statement

The vision statement for the Kucera Middle School Counseling Program is that all students have access to an equitable data-driven comprehensive school counseling program . All students will achieve their career goals and acquire the highest level of academic,social/emotional, and college/career development to promote and enhance student outcomes. We envision a future where our students successfully promote and graduate from high school  as productive and compassionate members of society using their talent, interests, and abilities to become agents of change. School counselors will serve as leaders that promote a collaborative relationship with all stakeholders to ensure student success. 


Counselor Google Classrooms

All students may request to see their school counselor using the Request Form in their school counselor's Google Classroom. Codes will be shared with students during the first two weeks of school as we visit each classroom.

Please email your grade level counselor should you need the google classroom code after the first two weeks of school.

Elective Request Change

We are NO LONGER accepting Elective Request Changes for all grades.

We're ready to begin a great school year!!


Any other class changes will need an administrative meeting.

Statement of Confidentiality 

As School Counselors, we maintain strict confidentiality in all of our interactions. All meetings held with the school counselor will remain confidential unless the student gives permission to share information with related parties. However, circumstances do arise where we must disclose information to appropriate professionals. Reasons for breaking confidentiality are but not limited to: a student is in danger of harming themselves, another individual, or if a student is in danger of being harmed by others.
