Goals of the Band Program
The following are the goals that have been established for the band programs in Rock Hill School District Three.
To provide for the learning and mastering of the fundamental skills of music
To develop musical standards and encourage sensitive musicianship
To foster music appreciation and understanding that will enrich each student's life
To develop in each student the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
To develop the discipline, knowledge, skills, and attitudes which will make each student a more desirable member or society
