ABOUT AFJROTC

Air Force Junior ROTC is a great experience for anyone to have! Our cadet corps offers a range of exciting fun opportunities such as, Drill Team, Color Guard, Saber Team, and many others! All of which are available to cadets of all ages.  For those who excel, trips are available for them to go on.  Unit SC-061 has traveled around South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C! These trips are considered Curriculum in Action trips, and we focus on learning while having fun away from home! Speaking of learning--our instructors, Major Chandler and Master Sergeant Troy Talford teach our classes a range of skills from aerospace science to leadership techniques. We involve our cadets in a variety of community service opportunities around Rock Hill! Our cadets love working with the organizations that we help, as well as trash pick-up days with Adopt-a-Highway
