Hello! My name is Amber Mays and I will be the 7th grade assistant principal for the 2023-2024 school year. I am so excited to return to DCMS for another year. I earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Appalachian State University in History, Secondary Education. I then received my Masters of Administration and Supervision from Liberty University. I taught high school history for 10 years. I then became a high school assistant principal and served in that role for 4 years before becoming a Gator! In my spare time I like to travel, workout, and spend time with my family.
