This course is a continuation of the essentials sequence for those students who intend to complete
the pre-algebra – algebra – geometry – advanced algebra mathematics sequence. This sequence is
intended for students who need a more deliberate pace of introduction for the concepts of algebra.
Students will increase their understanding of use of variables, solving linear equations, and graphing
linear functions. They will also explore algebra topics such as functions, quadratics, sequences, and
systems of linear equations.
