Library Policies

While our library may be closed, these are library policies in place during regular hours.

Circulation

All users have equal access to the collection as per the following procedures:

All books must be returned to the library within 2 weeks and may be renewed if necessary.
Students may check out 2 books each
Parents may also create an account
Reference Materials may only be checked out by teachers and staff members.
If a library item is lost or damaged beyond repair, it must be paid in full in order to replace said item. Materials overdue beyond 90 school days are considered lost.

Selection shall be supportive and consistent with educational goals of the state and district, as well as individual school objectives and curriculum
Meet high standards of quality in presentation, format, educational significance, readability, and authenticity.
Be appropriate for subject area, age, development, ability and learning style of the students
Provide information from opposing ideas of controversial issues to allow students to develop critical analysis skills.
