Student Leadership is a great opportunity for students who want to make a positive impacts Basalt High School. Whether you're interested in planning events, representing your classmates, or helping improve the school, Student Leadership allows you to grow a willingness to work hard, collaborate with others, and care about making Basalt High School the best it can be.
Students interested in joining Student Leadership should:
Apply at the end of each semester
Complete the leadership application
Will receive an email or be notified if accepted
Be ready to participate actively in class projects and events
Show responsibility, respect, and a positive attitude

Student Leadership is for students who:
Want to make a difference in their school
Are reliable and willing to help others
Enjoy working as part of a team
Are open to new ideas and challenges
Leadership is about effort and attitude.
As a Student Leadership member, you will:
Help plan and run school events (Homecoming, Haunted House, etc)
Work on a school improvement project each semester
Represent student voices and ideas
Build communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
