Christmas Around the World

Mrs. Kent and Mrs. Smith did a fabulous job organizing a Christmas around the World parade with their students. 4th grade teams researched different countries and designed informational suitcases. 6th grade teams created miniture holiday floats to showcase key details about thier country's traditions. Both groups united to parade through the elementary school with a jolly Santa as the caboose.

Read Across America Week!

Reynolds Elementary is proud to celebrate Read Across America week. We enjoy reading and love to have fun! Each day is celebrated with a fun theme- crazy hat and silly stripes, Whoville hair, pajamas, and Read Across America spirit wear.

The Cat in the Hat and the Grinch made their appearance to bring reading to life.

We are also wrapping up our Raiders are Readers program this week and had special guest readers from Charlotte's Web join us for the celebrations.

Our Raiders are Readers book for 2022 has been revealed!

We will be reading CHARLOTTE'S WEB.

There will be weekly trivia and other book activities during January and February for the students to participate in and enjoy. Special thank you to Decwin Waite for all of her help planning this project and making the scenery. Our student volunteers also did a great job with their character appearances at our reveal assembly.

We are excited for this whole school opportunity.
