Meet Mrs. Costa

Hi there!

My name is Erin Costa, and this is my sixth year at STEM Middle at Baldwin Road. This year I will teach seventh grade Language Arts. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Childhood Education from THE Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) and a Master's Degree in Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Teaching has been my dream job since I was five years old!

My husband, Nick, and I share our home with our two-year old son, McCoy, and our one-month old daughter, Louise. We also have a dog named Corregidor that we call Cregg. Our little family continues to grow as more students enter my life and are also known around my home as "my kids."

I am a sports fanatic. I love watching, talking, and playing all kinds of sports including baseball, volleyball, football, and hockey, but my favorite is basketball. I coached middle school and high school basketball for eight years. Once my kids are older, I can't wait to get back into it!

I am SO excited to get started this year! I cannot wait to work together to make this a successful year for all of us. Please know that I am here to help you in any way that I can. Because I had a baby in the middle of the summer, I will see you in September!
