ALL ABOUT MADAME MICHAEL

Bonjour! My name is Dawn Michael, and I have been the French teacher in Reynoldsburg since 2008. I used to teach at both campuses but have been at Summit only for several years. I teach both eStem and Encore students. I am a member of the District Extended Equity Team.

Training: I have a B.A., M.A. and PhD (ABD) in French! I trained to be a French professor, but have been teaching high school since 2001.

Family: My family is originally from Lebanon, where one of my brothers was living until the recent crisis. I grew up in Worthington, where I live now with my son who will be at Thomas Worthington this year. I also have an adorable rescue dog named Tulip who I'm sure will make an appearance in my materials and videos.

Interests: I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting Metro Parks, outside time with my dog, traveling (especially to France), and cooking. I also love to watch sports and am looking forward to going to games again after the pandemic is controlled.
