Google Classroom will be the central hub that students use to access our class. This includes weekly agendas, access to live instruction through Google Meet, announcements, assignments, and links to outside resources. Students must use their Reynoldsburg school e-mail address to log in. There is not a parent page for Google Classroom. Parents are encouraged to review Google Classroom materials with their students when they are logged in. Parents can also connect their e-mail address to their student's account to receive a weekly summary of their student's assignments.

All assignments will fall into one of the following two categories:

Foundational: These are short learning tasks that provide checkpoints and practice to guide students toward understanding the standards we are learning. Some are entered into PowerSchool but they do not contribute towards report card grades.

Anchor: These are final assessments of standard mastery and are used to determine final grades. Students may request to redo or revise these assignments if they have taken steps to improve their mastery.

A - Consistently meets and exceeds expectations independently

B - Meets grade level expectations established by standards

C - Working toward mastery of grade level standards

IP - Demonstrating limited or inconsistent mastery of grade level standards

IN - Incomplete or missing work

Feedback and raw scores will be reported on Google Classroom but students and parents should rely on PowerSchool for checking final grades. Foundational assignments will be scored out of 10 points and Anchor assignments will be scored out of 100 points. Only Anchor assignments are used to determine report card grades. I recommend checking PowerSchool once per week to stay updated on student grades.
