On election day visit your polling location between the times of 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

If you are unable to be present at the polls on election day it is best to either vote early in-person or mail-in your ballot.
For early in-person voting, visit the Summit County Board of Elections CBOE Early Vote Center at 500 Grant St. Akron, OH 44311. The center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
The Board of Elections must receive your ballot by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day
Steps:
Make sure you are registered to vote
Request a mail-in ballot through an application on the Ohio Secretary of State’s website
After your application is approved, the ballot will arrive in the mail
Mail the ballot back to the Summit County Board of Elections Early Vote Center on 470 Grant St. Akron, OH 44311
Your ballot must be postmarked no later than the day before Election Day
The estimation for the delivery of your ballot is 2-5 days
A ballot can be requested starting on January 1 until seven days before the election. Visit the Ohio absentee voting page for more details on specific deadlines.
