Google Chrome – Clearing Browser Data
The Browser Data in Google Chrome contains a list of websites that have been visited in the user’s past, as well as a history of the files that the user has downloaded. Browser Data also keeps track of “cookies,” small bits of code stored on the user’s computer when visiting websites, allowing the websites to recognize the user. In addition, when visiting a website, browsers create a “cache” which contains copies of information stored in the user’s computer, to allow pages to load quicker when the website is visited again.
