By submitting a RFP (or RFPs), each offeror agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the School, the Architect and their respective employees arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any RFP; waiver of any requirements under the RFP Documents; acceptance or rejection of any RFP; and award of Contract.  

ResponsiveEd Texas, a Texas open-enrollment charter school, is issuing a Request for Proposals for a Construction Manager-At-Risk to perform construction services on a project located at Vintage Boulevard and I-35, Denton, Texas, involving the construction of a K-8 Elementary School, which is approximately 62,000 SF pre-engineered single-story K-8 classroom facility, conventional steel structure administration and cafeteria building where the cafeteria and kitchen area will act as a storm structure, and a free-standing pre-engineered gymnasium. In addition, it includes parking, a playground area, and an athletic field.

ResponsiveEd Texas Construction Services intends to evaluate responses and select a Construction Manager-At Risk in a one-step selection process in accordance with Sections 2269.251-.258 of the Texas Government Code. Deadline for responses to be submitted is 2:00 pm, on October 30, 2025. Inquiries may be submitted in writing no later than five (5) calendar days before the proposal due date. Sealed RFP responses will be opened at 2:05 pm, on October 30, 2025, at the School’s central administrative offices located at 1301 Waters Ridge Drive, Lewisville, TX 75057.

ResponsiveEd Texas reserves the right to reject any or all responses to this RFP, waive technicalities, re-advertise, or proceed otherwise where in the best interest of the ResponsiveEd Texas. Responses should be submitted sealed and plainly marked: “FOUNDERS CLASSICAL ACADEMY- DENTON.” Late responses will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
