When a tragedy strikes, your first step is for an administrator to reach out to the regional crisis team. Below are examples of intake questions you may receive when you initially contact the regional crisis response team.
Having answers to these questions is not a requirement.
What happened? Where?
What other agencies are assisting?
Who was injured or died?
Are there any rumors to consider?
Is there a need for a crisis management briefing?
When is your team planning meeting?
After the initial phone call, an intake planning document will be shared with you. The regional crisis team lead will ask you to complete certain sections of the document.
In collaboration with your district planning team, roles and responsibilities can be tailored to align with your needs and the current supports in place. Select a dropdown tab below to learn more.
