Dr. Phillip Crisostomo is a veteran school leader and principal coach with extensive experience guiding schools through change, growth, and innovation. He currently serves as Principal of Mercer County Technical Schools–Assunpink Center in Trenton, New Jersey, overseeing the Health Sciences Academy and multiple shared-time CTE programs.
Since 2019, he has also mentored new administrators through the Leader2Leader Program. As part of Leader2Leader, he coaches new leaders in New Jersey working under their Provisional Certification. He also advises them on an Action Research Project, which serves as the capstone of their time in the program.
He founded The Resilient Leaders Project in 2026 after seeing leaders frustrated with their lack of leadership growth or their problems of practice. It is his goal to see school administrators learn to become resilient leaders ready to tackle the challenges of leading a 21st-century school.
