PA-146 Support

As districts continue planning for the professional learning requirements outlined in Public Act 146, Wayne RESA is excited to offer a countywide day of professional learning on November 3, 2026. Sessions offered are designed to help districts meet these requirements while strengthening evidence-based literacy practices.

Building Stronger Readers Across Wayne County: Understanding Dyslexia and Strengthening Evidence-Based Literacy Systems provides educators with seven learning options aligned to specific PA 146 educator learning requirements (see chart below). Districts can select the sessions that best meet the needs of their staff while addressing applicable requirements. 

Districts have flexibility to select the learning experiences that best meet the needs of their staff and address applicable learning requirements. Additional information about each session, registration options, and PA 146 alignment is included in the attached document.
