Accessing myRenbrook

Saving User Names and Passwords

Because we can't stay logged into myRenbrook all the time, and the "remember me" checkbox at the login screen will only fill in your user name, it is useful to be able to save your credentials (user name and password) in your browser(s). There are many ways to access myRenbrook — using different browsers, operating systems, and types of devices — so it is difficult to include instructions for all of them. Moreover, the instructions would be obsolete almost as soon as we publish them due to the ever-changing nature of technology tools.

Below are some guides to credential saving on the most commonly used browsers and platforms. We hope you find them useful for myRenbrook and other sites requiring usernames and passwords.

The BEST way to go is to get password management software, such as 1Password or LastPass; I encourage everyone to get and use such a tool.

Chrome on all devices (computers and mobile)

Google provides excellent guidance when it comes to customizing your password settings in the Chrome browser, both on your computer and your phone. Click here to access them, and notice that both types of devices are covered on the same page.

Logging into Chrome will allow it to remember your credentials across your devices — log into Chrome on your computer and on your phone, and your saved passwords will be available on both.

Firefox on computers

Firefox also offers clear instructions for managing passwords. It can handle multiple users' passwords if you are sharing a computer.
