In Science, we are learning about materials and their properties.

We will :
● Identify & compare the suitability of everyday materials for different uses

● Explain how the shapes of solid objects made from some materials can be changed by squashing, bending, twisting & stretching

In RE, we are learning about Friendship.

Robot Algorithms and Pictograms

We will:

● Know that a series of instructions is a sequence and can be issued before enacted.

● Know how logical reasoning can be used to predict the outcome of a program.

● Create and debug a program that they have written.

● Know how a computer program can be used to present information in different ways e.g. tally chart and pictograms.

● Know objects that have been grouped by attribute and construct a comparison question.

In Music, we are completing the unit 'Musical Me'.

Pupils who are secure will be able to:

• Sing the melody accurately while playing their instrument in time.

This term, we are developing our dance skills.

In Geography, we are learning about where our food comes from.

Habitats/Plants - Sculpture/Printing

In Art & Design, 2F will explore the work of Andy Goldsworthy and use natural materials to develop skills in observational drawings and group sculpture. The children will also study the work of Henri Matisse to inspire their printing techniques to clay sculptures.

In this unit, we will learn about digital photography.

In Music, we are learning about orchestral instruments and traditional western stories.

This term, we are developing our gymnastics skills. 

In PSHCE, we are looking at a range of topics including:

In DT, we will be exploring mechanisms through designing, making and evaluating a wheeled toy.

In this unit, we will learn about different types and features of information technology and how they are used.

In Music, we are learning about the West African Call and Response.

This term, we are developing our ball skills.

We will:
- be able to roll a ball to hit a target
- develop coordination and be able to stop a rolling ball
- develop technique and control when dribbling a ball with your feet
- develop control and technique when kicking a ball
- develop coordination and technique when throwing and catching
