Each week your child will have a set of activities to complete at home to help support what they have learnt in school that week.
Children are given a reading book at their reading level each week. It is important that they are read with regularly, both at home and at school.
Please ensure that your child brings their book bag to school so that we can keep up to date with their progress and provide appropriate texts for them.
If your child reads each day at home and you sign the reading record, your child will enter a raffle to win a book out of our new vending machine every Friday!
Optional additional work is also posted on SeeSaw weekly.
Children are encouraged to complete 10-15 minutes of Numbots at least twice a week. This App is fantastic for helping your child with their fluency skills in maths. This will ensure they get quicker at answering a range of different maths questions.
These projects are designed to both support and enrich learning in our foundation subjects.
Here are the homework projects your child can work on during this half term. We only expect one project to be completed, but if children want to do more, they are more than welcome!
The projects will be announced in the coming weeks.
Additional Learning
Here are some extra things you could practise with your child at home to support their learning in school.
If your child is unsure of their logins for any of these please speak to your class teacher.
