Oral Health and Hygiene
On Thursday, we had a visit from the Children's Centre. They taught us some songs about how to brush our teeth to keep them nice and clean. They gave out a little pack with a toothbrush, toothpaste and information booklet so we can brush our teeth at home. We also practised brushing our teeth using tuff tray activities.
Key Messages:
Brush your teeth twice a day
An adult should support you brushing your teeth
Spend 2 minutes brushing your teeth
Bottles and dummys are not good for your teeth.
Avoid too many sugary drinks and food such as sweets, fruit shoots and chocolate.
Always brush your teeth before going to bed.
After brushing your teeth before bed, only have a sip of water - no juice or other drinks
Make sure you visit the dentist regularly.
