ARBA Shows

Reilly Rabbitry has been competitively showing Flemish Giants at ARBA shows since July 2023.  Many of the shows have been sanctioned for which national sweepstakes points have been earned (https://nffgrb.org/sweepstakes). We are having fun, connecting with other breeders, having our Flemish evaluated by ARBA judges and registrars, taking comments into consideration, and are advancing our knowledge.  We are consistently striving to provide quality Flemish Giants and seek the advice of experienced mentors.

As of September 2024, we have registered ten of our Flemish Giants with ARBA, with one more waiting to visit the registrar at the next show. ARBA registration means that the rabbit meets or exceeds their breed standards according to the ARBA. Additionally, a few of our Flemish have earned their Grand Championship Certificates.  In order to earn their Grand Championship Certificate, rabbits must be awarded legs for their winnings out of certain criteria, number of rabbits, and exhibitors at each show.

Fawn doe (Lovely Lady), steel doe (Mariette), light grey buck (Curious George), blue does (Iris and Diamond), and black doe (Ruth) have earned their Grand Championship Certificates. Steel doe (Lola) and fawn buck (Goodboy) are well on their way to potentially earning their Grand Championships with one more leg each to earn out of the three awards. Outside of Diamond, most of our GC's were bred by other breeders. However, this year (second year showing) we look forward to receiving feedback about those we have bred and raised.
