IN-OFFICE VISITS

Before returning to in-office physical therapy visits please ask yourself the following


-Have you had contact with anyone with confirmed COVID-19 in the last 14 days or with someone with flu-like symptoms?

-Have you had any of these symptoms in the last 14 days? Fever 100 or above, difficulty breathing, coughing

-Have you felt sick or sluggish within the past 48 hours?

-Are you high-risk? If so please ask your PCP if it is ok to return to in-office physical therapy.


If you answered yes to any of the questions, we strongly recommend you pursue our Telehealth visits.

If you have any of these symptoms, please contact your primary physician.





When to Seek Medical Attention

If you develop any of these emergency warning signs* for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately:

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest

  • New confusion or inability to arouse

  • Bluish lips or face

*This list is not all inclusive. Please consult your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning to you.

Call 911 if you have a medical emergency: Notify the operator that you have, or think you might have, COVID-19. If possible, put on a cloth face covering before medical help arrives.


Things you need to do before coming inside the office

Masks - Please wear a mask prior to entering the clinic. Once you enter the clinic you are required to wear a mask the entire time you are inside the clinic. Unfortunately we will not be able to provide masks to you due to the shortage there is for our healthcare providers. Masks are mandatory and required. Recommendation for cloth face coverings. and FAQ's

Social Distancing - Remain at least six feet away from others

Hand washing - You will be asked to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer when going in to your appointment with your therapist.

Gloves - You will be asked to take off any gloves you are wearing when coming into your appointment.

New Patients or paperwork - Please try to finish this prior to your appointment. It is best if you email info@rehabspecialistsinc.net or fax (310) 273-1189 us your paperwork to avoid unnecessary contact.

Guests - Guests are not allowed to enter the office. The patient is the only individual allowed to go through our clinic doors unless a caregiver is approved by our staff to enter. We kindly ask you come to your appointment alone.

Payment - You can put a credit card on file to avoid any contact.

Remember! Your safety and the safety of our staff is priority! If you are not feeling well, please stay home!

What to expect during your in-office visit?

Staff- Will have taken a COVID-19 test prior to coming back to work.

Temperature - Your temperature will be taken prior to your appointment. If you have a 100.4 or above temperature you will be asked to go home.

Masks - Our staff will be wearing masks inside the clinic at all times.

Gloves - Will be worn by therapists and aides if they intend to touch patients physically. These will be changed for each patient.

Hand washing - RSI staff are required to constantly wash their hands, especially the clinicians even if gloves are worn.

Cleanliness - The office is constantly being wiped down with hospital grade spray. After each patient we spray and wipe down anything that was touched by a patient or staff.
