Then partake in a book discussion with others that read the same title next September.

**You must be present/contribute to the discussion to earn the extra credit.

Why should you participate in a Book Talk? 

• Earn a chance to win a prize in September (several prizes will be available).

• DROP ONE GRADE in next year's English class (teacher's discretion).

• Book Talks are FUN!  

**Summer Reading Book Talks ARE VOLUNTARY. WRHS’s Library Media Specialist, working with the English Department, have selected a variety of award winning, starred reviewed,  diverse book choices. These books are newer, young adult titles that we think would be of high interest to both our reluctant readers, as well as our voracious readers.
