History of NHS

National Honor Society consists of a group of like-minded students demonstrate leadership and service within theri communities. Dr. Edward Rynearson, principal of the Fifth Avenue High School in Pittsburgh, PA, had a vision to make this group of students come to life. With the help from National Association of Secondary School Principals, this organization became a reality.
