I have been working at Chester Elementary School since 1997. I did take several years off to be a stay-at-home mom to my two children, but my daughter is now in the United States Air Force and my son is a junior in college. I grew up in the area and am a product of the Region 4 school system. I absolutely love my job and look forward to each day. No two days are ever the same and my students keep me on my toes with a smile on my face on a regular basis.
I am honored to be working with the students, parents, community, and colleagues at Chester Elementary. I look forward to helping the students become successful, productive, and caring citizens. I hope to instill my love of books to my students and encourage them to be life-long readers and learners.
In my spare time, I enjoy getting together with my children. I love reading, traveling, hiking, biking, crafting and geocaching. My two dogs, Zeva and Bobbie Socks, always bring a smile to my face. Working out and gardening are two of my favorite hobbies. My favorite foods are a good burger, tacos, wings, salad, and green M&Ms.
