Welcome to Coast to Credits

The screen industries in Yorkshire and the Humber are booming - you don’t need to leave the North to build a successful career in film and TV. Scarborough Film Festival and Reel Solutions have teamed up with Screen Yorkshire, INDIs on Tour and Film Hub North for Coast to Credits, a one-day, no-nonsense event built for the next generation of filmmakers, creative freelancers and small business owners to inspire and share practical information through panel sessions and networking opportunities.

Discover and discuss some of the industry's current hot topics including AI, environmental riders and other sustainable production practices which put the planet, and workforce wellbeing, first. Coast to Credits includes an afternoon of short films showcasing and celebrating young and emerging filmmaking talent with highlights from our Region's festivals and touring programmes.

Meet inspiring professionals, many with direct connections to Scarborough. No gatekeeping, just direct access to some of Yorkshire's key players. With lots of opportunities to connect with fellow attendees, Coast to Credits will help build and strengthen your networks. Our speakers include BAFTA-winning directors, top-tier funders, festival programmers, all experts in their field, who can help boost your knowledge and point you in the right direction.
