What can you expect now? The cast list on the Elementary office windows, the Jr/Sr High office windows, and on the musical website (sites.google.com/reedsville.k12.wi.us/lionking) by Thursday, June 10th. Don’t panic if the role you are assigned isn’t exactly the role you were expecting; there are important roles everywhere in theatre!
Next, you should prepare for rehearsals. Rehearsals start on Monday, July 5th at 8:00. You should bring the following items with you every day:
Water bottle
Non-candy snack - we will always take a 20 minute break in the middle of the morning. Jim’s across the street is open and available for students to purchase their own snacks.
Pencil
Highlighter
Tennis shoes - no open toed shoes or flip flops will be allowed on stage. We will be dancing every day beginning on day 1.
An open mind and willingness to try :)
Your script - THESE WILL BE HANDED OUT ON THE FIRST REHEARSAL!
Stage Blacks - should include black shorts and a black t-shirt or tank top (no long sleeves this year please). Please have your name either marked on the tags or taped inside your clothes.
