In this video I share how one can build a script to add a standards sidebar. This can be useful in many situations, in this example it is a list of the standards that can be added to a doc with a click. This would be better if it was an add-on, because now one has to authorize the script every time you make a new copy, but I might try to work on that. In the meantime here is how it works.

You can make a copy of the document below. The first time you run the standards document you need to authorize. If you want to make your own copy of the standards spreadsheet, you will have to change the sheet ID as shown on the document in the actual script. But the document will work with my spreadsheet, unless I remove it something, so best to make your own copy of the spreadsheet also, then change the script to point to your copy.
