FORGE WBL Advisory Committee Purpose & Involvement

The purpose of the advisory committee is to ensure the Red Oak Jr.-Sr. High School FORGE Work-Based Learning Program remains relevant and responsive to the community’s needs. This involves enhancing and strengthening collaboration between educators and industry leaders in a way that fosters shared responsibility for preparing students for their future plans as they transition away from high school. The advisory council is meant to broaden the base of business and community involvement in the Red Oak Jr.-Sr. High School FORGE program. Expert advice among advisory members is intended to contribute to program relevance and responsiveness in terms of the needs of our community and beyond. The committee consists of Montgomery County business leaders who meet to support strategic planning efforts and help build sustainable partnerships with local industry.
