What Does it Look Like?
A : Advanced - Student goes beyond requirements, connects concepts to new situations, and solves multi-step challenges effortlessly.
P : Proficient -
Meets the learning goal
P : Proficient - Student consistently demonstrates a solid understanding of the standard. They have met grade level expectation.
P : Proficient - Student solves grade-level problems accurately, explains their thinking clearly, and completes work with minimal support.
D : Developing -
Approaching learning goal
D : Developing - Student understands basic concepts but needs a little more practice, or student needs hints to consistently succeed.
D : Developing - Student can complete similar tasks or solve problems with visual aids or teacher prompting. Student makes occasional independent errors.
E : Emerging -
Beginning learning journey
E : Emerging - Student is just starting to learn this skill and requires direct, step-by-step guidance and support.
E : Emerging- Student struggles to complete grade-level tasks independently and relies on modified materials, reteaching, teacher support, and prompting.
