Mrs. Morris and Mr. Rodriguez shared the news of their departure and their last words for the Monarch family.
On November 2, an In 'n Out truck was at Moore Middle School during lunch. Students were served a meal (burger, chips, and lemonade) for $5. All proceeds went to support the Moore PTSA.
First quarter ends on October 7th. Teachers will finalize grades by October 12th, and honor roll recipients will be announced soon after. Do well, Monarchs! We're all here to learn and improve.
ASB Hosted a club rush on September 22 during both lunches. Students were able to find out about the various clubs on campus and join the ones that they were interested in. The clubs that participated included: The Monarch Post, Drama Club, Dungeons and Dragons, Run Team, Monarchs for Change, E-Sports, and Best Buddies Club.
The first disaster drill was carried out successfully. Students evacuated their classes and stood in orderly lines on the field. This helped prepare Monarchs for real emergencies, when it is essential that students remain calm and follow directions. Be safe Monarchs!
The Moore Monarchs took on the Cope Eagles on September 12. The boys won 2 sets to 0. The girls lost a close one, 1 set to 2. Members of the Monarch Post attended to collect some game footage and interview the coaches.
ASB planned and executed their first dance. The Monarch Post created this video to show ASB's hard work and help them plan for future events. Side benefit... Monarchs get to try to spot the people they know and hear about what others thought of the first dance of the year.
