RUSD Partnership Colleges

Guaranteed College Admission Agreements

The RUSD has partnered with several local universities to provide RUSD students with a guarantee of admission.  This means that any RUSD graduate, who meets the basic eligibility requirements for the particular institution, is guaranteed admission to the university.

Students are encouraged to confirm the eligibility requirements with each university, as GPA, course completion, testing, and other admission requirements vary, and students are not automatically eligible.

Partnership Agreement at University of Redlands:

Regarding freshmen admission requirements, we will continue to be test optional for future application cycles. You can point your parent to this helpful page that provides details about our overall recommended courses as well as other FAQ’s-https://www.redlands.edu/admissions-and-aid/first-year/apply/first-year-apply/ . We do ask that students have completed at minimum Algebra 2 (or its equivalent) and have at least two years of the same foreign language. For the most part, we do follow the A-G requirements but do not require a fine arts course. All Redlands Unified students who meet our minimum MOU GPA will receive at minimum a $10,000 scholarship. We also have a Cal Grant guarantee that provides a scholarship for full tuition if the student has a 3.5 academic weighted GPA and qualifies for the Cal Grant A.
