Program Quality Standards

The California Department of Education, together with the California Afterschool Network, created a framework of clear expectations for all stakeholders. Our stakeholders include our staff, students, families, schools, and communities. See the Quality Standards Here

These expectations guide:

Program providers, such as us, to assess their own programs in order to help determine what they are doing well and what needs improvement; and
Parents and youth to identify quality after school enrichment programming.

We have developed the slides below to inform our stakeholders about each Program Quality Standard, what it means, how our staff will implement it, and how we can measure success.
