ASES Program Information

The After School Education and Safety (ASES) Programs are provided by a grant of the same name from the California Department of Education. We operate programs at 10 different locations: Bryn Mawr, Clement, Cope, Franklin, Kingsbury, Lugonia, McKinley, Mentone, Moore, and Victoria.

Programs are open every day from the end of the school day to 6:00PM at Elementary Sites and 6:15PM at Middle Schools. We have developed a family-centered Early Release Policy to allow our students to be picked up early to participate in extra-curricular activities, go to health appointments, get home safely, and enjoy family time. You will need to complete an early release form each month in order for the program to comply with the policy and keep our grant funding.

Each day our programs offer homework assistance, academically enriching activities, health and fitness opportunities, and opportunities for leadership, career and college readiness, and a place to make lifelong friendships.  We look forward to having your student in our program.

Sincerely,

Cherish Bohlman, ASES Liaison
