Academic Awards are given to any student who earns a 3.5 or higher GPA during a semester. Students can only receive an Academic Award from their Freshmen Semester 1 to Senior Semester 1. Awards are not given for 8th grade GPAs or Semester 2 of their Senior Year.
Any student who has earned the award will receive an Academic Award Pin the following semester. ASB distributes the awards and will add all recipients to a MINGA group so students will receive communication on how to pick up their Academic Award Pin.
For the 2024-2025 school year, all Academic Award Pins are free thanks to LCAP funding. Pricing of these pins each year is dependent on LCAP funding and may go up in price if the LCAP funding is not provided to our students for ASB.
