Inland Housing solutions offers a variety of services to families, to assist them on their journey to self-sufficiency. The following services are offered to all of our families: Housing Navigation: Families initially meet with the Housing Navigator for assistance in obtaining permanent housing. Once permanent housing is obtained, clients may periodically meet with the Housing Navigator to ensure that permanent housing is being maintained and that all areas of the lease agreement are being upheld. The Housing Navigator may also assist in any mediation between the clients and landlord. Case Management: focuses on goal planning, maintaining stable housing, time management and self-improvement. Life Skills: focuses on promoting personal growth and covers topics such as budgeting, time management, and goal setting. Mental Health: available individual and family therapy provided by a licensed mental health clinician and interns. Follow-up: families are eligible to participate in a six-month follow-up, after the Infinite Horizons program.

There are five basic qualifications your child must meet in order to receive a Sight for Students gift certificate.

· Family income is no more than 200% of federal poverty level

· Child is not enrolled in Medicaid or other vision insurance.

· Child is 18 years old or younger and has not graduated from high school.

· Child or parent is a U.S. citizen or legal immigrant with a social security number.

· Child has not used the Sight for Students program during the past 12 months.

Includes a vision exam and certificate to redeem for glasses at participating doctors office. Parents and guardians interested in seeking assistance through the Sight for Students program must work through community partners-Redlands Unified and/or The Boys and Girls Club of Redlands. New Eyes purchases new prescription eyeglasses for low-income individuals in the U.S. through a voucher program. To be eligible for our program, applicants must:

· Have household income at or below 200% of the U.S. Poverty guidelines. · Have had a recent eye exam with a pupillary distance measurement (or click here to learn how to measure pupillary distance) . New Eyes does not pay for eye exams. Contact Us if you need assistance in locating a source of free or low-cost eye exams.

· Have no other resources available to them to pay for glasses, including federal or state programs or assistance from local charitable organizations.

A New Eyes voucher provides a basic pair of single or lined bifocal eyeglasses.


Haircuts

Redlands First United Methodist Church has showers on Saturdays. The barber shop comes to the church one Saturday a month to do haircuts for homeless families. Contact the church to confirm which weekends they will be having haircuts. Here is their contact info:
