We discussed the importance and viability of our rewilding project for the Earth Prize with the grade 5 and grade 6 members. Grade 12 students started editing the first draft of the first Earth Prize submission.
Over the winter break, students worked on the first entry for the Earth Prize and discussed important dates, goals, and next steps for the new year.
Our aeroponic gardens have been flourishing thanks to the care of our OLS teachers; especially the garden in our schools kitchen for our Junior and Senior "Food's" option class.
In order to become environmental stewards, students were inspired by Jia Jiangs' Tedtalk "What I learned from 100 days of rejection"- to create their own list of rejected enviornmental outcomes.
