Support & Community

• The Village DE (AIDS Delaware): Offers leadership programs, workshops, and mentorship for LGBTQ+ youth (13-23) in Northern DE, with stipends available.

• PFLAG Delaware Chapters: Provides family support, education, and local resources, with PFLAG Wilmington hosting a specific youth group (ages 10-21) for trans and gender-diverse youth, often online.

• United Way of Delaware Pride Council: Works to connect corporate, education, and health resources, supports Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) in schools, and offers training.

• Our Night Out Wilmington: Monthly social gatherings for LGBTQ+ folks and allies at local spots to build community.

• New Castle County Youth Pride: An annual festival celebrating LGBTQ+ youth and connecting them with local resources. 

Mental Health & Crisis

• The Trevor Project: National 24/7 crisis intervention & suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth (Text/Call/Chat).

• Trans Lifeline: Peer support for trans people in crisis, run by and for trans people.

• Orgullo Delaware: Offers bilingual therapy, support groups (teens/parents), and events.

• Sean's House (Newark): Monthly LGBTQ+ peer support group for mental health.

• NAMI Delaware: Local chapter offering LGBTQ+-inclusive mental health support. 

Health & Housing

• Planned Parenthood of Delaware: Provides gender-affirming hormone therapy (for ages 18+) and other services.

• Delaware LGBTQ+ Housing Safeguard Committee: Aims to support youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness. 

Education & Advocacy

• Equality Delaware: Works on statewide advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights and policy change.

• Gender Spectrum: Hosts online groups for youth, parents, and caregivers.
