Gather is a platform where you can meet and chat with others as if you're in the same room. Imagine an 80's style video game world where you have your own character (called an avatar) that can talk and move around. It's super straightforward... just click a link, pick a name, and you're in! You can then attend the conference, explore different spaces, and make new connections with collegues.

You will receive an invitation link that will be sent to your work email a few days before the event to join our Gather platform. If you prefer minimal instructions, here's a list of steps to get you started:
Join the Event: Gather works best on a computer with a web browser, or the Gather app if you’re using a mobile device.
Create Your Profile: Enter your name and customize your character. Have fun with it!
Enable Audio/Video: Allow your browser to access your microphone and camera, when prompted.
Move Around: Use the arrow keys or WASD keys to walk around the space.
Interact with Objects: Press “X” on glowing items like documents, games, or whiteboards.
Chat with Others: Walk up to someone to talk, your video/audio will turn on automatically.
Private Areas: Conversation Hubs and tables are private areas; only people inside can hear you until you leave.
