What would it take to make a 14 pound bowling ball float?
Why did the bowling ball sink in most of the water but not the Dead Sea?
Watch the video!
Afterwards, can you tell the difference between a "suspension" and a "solution"?
Let's see if we can make a solution that can make an egg float!
1 cup salt
4 cups water
spoon
two raw eggs (be gentle with them!)
two clear containers (glass or plastic, just big enough to hold two cups of water, some salt and and egg)
Make sure you have all the materials you need!
Watch this video for directions (pause, play and rewind as much as you need to!)

what other "sinkable" things can you get to float in the salt water?
Does more or less salt make a difference?
Would this experiment work with sugar instead of salt?
