Meanings of Letters in Genesis for Assignments:
A - student was absent on date assignment was due or assigned and has time to turn the assignment in for credit. After a period of time, the A will become a M.
M - assignment missing in class on due date and no credit can be given.
I - assignment not finished on due date and no credit can be given until the assignment is completed.
